From his upbringing on Ghana's Volta coastline to a life devoted to spiritual service, Papa Destiny's story weaves together heritage, education, media, business and divine calling into a single, unfolding destiny.
My name is Frank Senanu Ashiadey, widely known as Papa Destiny. I was born in Accra and raised in the coastal town of Woe in Ghana's Volta Region, a community rich in culture, history and spiritual heritage, and home to the historic St. Paul Lighthouse.
From my childhood along the Volta coastline to my present-day journey as a spiritual teacher, guide and practitioner, my life has been shaped by a deep connection to heritage, spirituality, culture and purpose.
My journey is one of discovery, a journey that brings together ancestral wisdom, education, media, entrepreneurship and a profound spiritual calling. Through the experiences I have encountered and the knowledge passed down through generations, I have come to understand my path not simply as a personal journey, but as a responsibility to serve, guide and inspire others.

My grandfather's name is Torgbui Agbenorxevi-Ashiadey who is a spiritualist, warrior, warlord, and the first Linguist of Torgbui Gbordzor The First. He is also a member of the Adzorvia clan of Anlo, cousin to the greatest spiritual warriors (Atsu & Etsey).
Embracing my calling as a Mami Wata Priest, I navigate the realms of spirituality on a path of enlightenment. With powerful consultations using the sacred wisdom that has been passed down to me through generations, I stand ready to empower and guide those in search of divine solutions in their journey through life.
According to Papa Destiny's personal testimonyPapa Destiny's path has moved through classrooms, radio studios, film sets, boardrooms and peacekeeping institutions — each shaping the man who would found Temple of Destiny.
My educational journey began at Salvation Army Primary School in Woe, Volta Region, followed by Woe L/A Junior High School and Bishop Herman College. I later continued my education at the Youth Leadership Training Institute in Avenorpeme, Volta Region, where I developed foundational academic and vocational skills that would influence my professional journey.
I further developed my technical skills at the Accra Technical Training Centre (ATTC) before advancing to Accra Polytechnic, now known as Accra Technical University. These experiences strengthened my practical knowledge and broadened my understanding of technical and professional disciplines.
My search for deeper spiritual understanding eventually took me to Domata Bible Institute in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I undertook ministerial training. This period marked an important chapter in my spiritual development and strengthened my desire to understand faith, ministry and the deeper dimensions of spirituality.
My spiritual journey has also taken me across different religious traditions. I have experienced Islam, explored Eckankar, embraced the Baha'i Faith and practised Buddhism. Each experience became part of a broader personal search for spiritual truth, understanding and enlightenment.
My passion for communication led me into broadcasting, where I had the opportunity to work with several radio stations, including Obuorba FM, Goodnews FM, Choice FM, Asempa Radio and Hitz FM, among others. Broadcasting gave me a platform to connect with people, share ideas and develop my voice as a communicator.
My professional journey expanded beyond radio into the film industry, while I continued to pursue further education and professional development. I obtained diplomas in Broadcast Journalism, Hotel Management, Human Resources, Management, and Occupational Health and Safety Management. These diverse experiences broadened my perspective and equipped me with skills that would prove valuable in both business and service.
Alongside my professional and educational pursuits, I founded Destiny Security Services Ltd, driven by a vision to provide safety, protection and professional security services. Entrepreneurship became another important chapter in my journey, teaching me leadership, responsibility, resilience and the importance of building sustainable institutions.
Determined to deepen my business knowledge, I pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specialising in Marketing Management, at Knutsford University College. This academic experience strengthened my understanding of business, leadership, marketing and organisational development.
My pursuit of knowledge continued at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), where I earned an Executive Master's degree in Conflict Resolution and Peacekeeping. It was during this period, alongside my pursuit of an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity and Metaphysics and my membership of the Universal Church, that I experienced what I describe as renewed spiritual encounters.

My journey with what I describe as mermaid spirits began when I was a young boy. After I was baptised, I began experiencing what I understood as encounters with spiritual energies.
I was later sent to Woe in the Volta Region to live with my late uncle, Lorlorva Fianu, who was a farmer, spiritualist and well-known healer.
My uncle consulted the oracles to determine whom he should choose as his secretary. Out of more than 20 children, I was chosen, and I lived with him for several years.
That experience became an important foundation in my spiritual journey.
During my studies at KAIPTC, while also pursuing an Honorary Doctorate in Divinity and Metaphysics and as a member of the Universal Church, I began experiencing various spiritual encounters again.
These experiences deepened my curiosity and prompted me to reflect more profoundly on my spiritual path and purpose.
One morning, I had what I experienced as a physical encounter with a female spiritual energy.
During the encounter, I was instructed to build a special room dedicated to quiet time and prayer. I was told that no one else was allowed to enter the room except me.
I followed the instruction and created the space as a place for prayer, reflection and spiritual contemplation.
After spending time in the room, I began experiencing what I describe as encounters with spirits who would speak to me and reveal information about people, including what I understood to be remedies or solutions to their problems.
People would sometimes come to my home and tell me that God had directed them to me because I had solutions to their problems.
At first, this was a profound shock to me. However, I continued to listen, learn and offer guidance based on the spiritual experiences and knowledge I believed I had received.
These experiences became a significant part of my journey and ultimately influenced my decision to devote myself to spiritual service.

"I was instructed to build a special room for quiet time and prayer. No one was allowed to enter that room, except me."
Presented as Papa Destiny's personal spiritual account of a defining encounter at the beach in Prampram.
Sometime later, I had a serious encounter at the beach in Prampram. I was with my cousin Lisa Atsufui Okudzeto when I saw two big bones which called out my name saying, "Senanu. Take us home!"
I was afraid and called out to my cousin for her to come and see what happened and for her to listen to the bones calling my name. Lisa said if this is what happened, then we should take them home.
At that moment I bent over to pick up the bones, bigger cowries started popping out of the sea and the sand. The spirit asked me to pick those up as well. My cousin Lisa went and found a bag to put the bones in. I gathered all of the cowries and bones and placed them all into the bag. We were both very surprised that they all fit into this bag.
Upon returning home, I entered my prayer room where the spirit appeared. I was instructed to burn a candle for her immediately.
Later I dug a big hole and buried all the cowries and bones from the beach side.

For some time, I went through a very difficult period in my business and finances. Things became extremely challenging, and my business was no longer moving forward as it used to.
There were times when, whenever I received a job opportunity, I had to charge far below what the work was actually worth just to convince the customer to give me the contract. Because of this, I often found it difficult to execute some of the contracts properly. Financial pressure continued to increase, and I became deeply concerned about the future of my business.
It was not only my finances that were affected. I also lost my peace of mind. I constantly felt anxious and afraid. I was carrying a heavy burden within me, and even my dream life became disturbing. I reached a point where I genuinely needed help and direction.
During this difficult period, I came across Papa Destiny of Destiny Temple through a TikTok live session. I listened to him and eventually sought his guidance.
Papa Destiny addressed the challenges I was going through and gave me directions concerning the financial, mental, physical, and other difficulties I was experiencing. I followed the directions I was given and continued in faith.
Gradually, I began to experience a change within me. The fear and anxiety that had troubled me began to reduce, and I started experiencing peace and renewed hope.
I also began to regain mental strength and a clearer sense of direction. With time, I started seeing improvement in my business situation as well. Things that had become extremely difficult gradually began to change, and my business started getting back on track.
Today, I am grateful for the direction and encouragement I received during one of the most difficult periods of my life. My experience has strengthened my hope, my faith, and my determination to keep moving forward.
I am sharing this testimony to express my gratitude and to encourage anyone who may be going through difficult circumstances not to give up.
